Today I am the guest blogger for Top Dog Dies. I had the pleasure to work with their Merry Christmas & Darling Deer dies for my projects today. It is always fun to make simple quick little projects for the holidays.
Hello! Thank you for stopping by for Day 2 of MFT's Oct Release Rewind. It was another fabulous release and I hope that it has put you into the holiday mood! Today I am sharing some tags & a card using a few of my faves from the new release. The Tag Builder Blueprints 2 die-namics is so versatile and can be used all year-I have been a tag lover for a very long time. I just had to use the Pierced Snowflakes & the Snowflake Fusion cover-up again! Love love love them both-and I enjoyed hearing how all of you loved them as well.
If you haven't stopped by the MFT's Blog make sure that it is your next stop! There are links to more DT blogs sharing more inspiration for you to take in using the new Oct release. Enjoy, have a good weekend!
Today Gossamer Blue design team is host a blog hop full of inspiration using the GB October kits. If you have found your way here from another blog-WELCOME!! This post is kind of ironic for me-I don't drink or like coffee! I have never had a Starbucks coffee-but I do buy their cups & mugs. My husband started drinking coffee just a few years ago and my girls love to get Starbucks drinks. It was weird working with the new Coffee Cup die-namics & Perk Up stamp set and loving it(especially the cup)-but still hating coffee! Thank goodness everyone around me drinks coffee giving me a reason to use these awesome new products!
Have you been leaving your comments on the MFT's Blog? Make sure that you do that each day of the 7 day countdown for a chance to win a $75 gift certificate. Also get all the details about today's sneak peeks on the MFT's Blog.
Bits & pieces! The best part of the kits can be the leftover bits & pieces-which is usually just enough to make a few cards, envelopes, and tiny gift boxes. It’s fun to see what can be made with some of the things you weren’t going to use mixed in with the leftover pieces that were your favorites. I always pull all my favorite things out first to use right away, so there is always some things that seem blah left in the bag. Then after I do my main projects I look over what I have left to make some quick cards…and I find that I end up loving the blah stuff after all!
I had planned on doing a layout for my post today-and I just couldn’t pull it together. That’s why I have come to love making cards & things-easy & quick for my to do in my last minute panic! I often procrastinate.
Today I am sharing little gift projects that I had so much fun making-last minute! These gift boxes & tags are perfect for a modern chic theme Christmas. I am not a traditional girl, I love to do things that are unexpected! My inspiration came from the new MFT's Positive Sign stencil. I love a good graphic design done in black and white-then add a bit of color here & there. And some shiny metallic!
If you have not been over to the MFT's Blog be sure that you do check it out. There are a couple more new peeks to see on the MFT's Blog that I have not shared. Get all the full details on the MFT's Blog & leave a comment there for a chance to win a $75 gift certificate.

My sneak teasers for today-Snowfall background stamp & Stitched Snow Drifts. This is my first time doing a scenery on a card, and it was a fun challenge for me.

Keisha love your stuff.mjust wondering I ordered a lot of stuff from MFT that you used but I thought the mixed chevron was an embossing folder, did you use the stencil like an embossing folder?! Thanks m xxo
Hello Melanie! I am so glad to hear that you purchased some MFT'S products!! OK, I think what you saw was me using Molding Paste! Something that Debbie Huges got us all into! You can grab a tube of that from Michael's or any art supply store. It dries really fast into a hard raised plaster finish. BUT you can always use the stencils to emboss with!! Here is a video by Kimberly that shows you how, THANKS!
