A Bit East-coast

questions...questions...

i guess i will answer a few questions...since i am busy doing some projects...and trying to find inspiration to get them done. i hope to add a few projects this week, if i can find the last bit of inspiration i need to complete them!! WARNING-serious internet issues this week...so if this post seems unfinished it's because i am getting booted-ARGH!!

Very pretty stuff!! Love how your sewing gives them the extra touch! And may I ask how you did the edge thing on your photos? WOuld love to obtain something similar :)

Ania, this is a brush that I made...i will see if i can add it on my next post for all to download!!

How did you sew through the chipboard? Do you have just a regular machine or is it something special? I love your work. Thanks for sharing.

Please tell, we want to know....how in the world do you sew through that chipboard?! A special heavy duty needle or something??

lol, you know I noticed that when HS products first came out with her line she stated on the back of her chipboards that they can be sewn. I was too chicken to try that. Until I saw a few of the Aussie girls doing it!!! I was also told by one(can't remember who, sorry) to use a thick needle-like for denim. I didn't have that option at the time...so I put my tension on *0* and went for it!!! NOT A PROBLEM!! It was pretty smooth. Now I have broken a few needles.  I think because I had too much stuff to go through, like layers of thick paper or chipboards. I do use a denim needle NOW & keep my tension on 0. Hope that helps!!

Hi Kiesha, i am not a good blogger and tend to flit around but every time i come across your blog i am amazed at how fresh and energetic yor pages feel! I am in awe! do you just sit there and roll out these pages one after the other or do you get stumped from time to time! Im going through a patch of no inspiration at the moment and wondered if there was light at the end of the tunnel? ( haha) although your pages truely inspire me not to give up!

Oh, do I wish!! I wish I had TONS of mojo to scrap everyday-I do try though!!! I go in spurts...one minute I have tons of energy & mojo...and can scrap like mad. But more often than I wished I get so blocked. I sit for hours with nothing done...when that happens I usually just do something else around the house. I can go for days without being able to scrap...even though I am dying to!! It hard to accept the fact that it is good to give yourself a break!!

swamped. but diggin my camera...

the reason why i wanted a new camera: I wanted super clear crisp photos with amazing color!! I am almost there...I think I really new a tripod. I left mine in the states because I thought I didn't need it-BIG MISTAKE. I do REALLY need it. These are three of my top favs I have taken with my new camera...and I have taken tons!!

I am so swamped with stuff to do...I have 4 Scrapologie kits to work through...a new project to get in the mail by the end of the month...2 birthday's to plan for my girls-I will do one for both...not sure if we are ready for a sleepover with 12 girls, lol!!

The Internet here is still wacky...keep getting booted off or pages won't fully load...or things freeze up-argh!!! I need to get birthday gifts ordered so that they will be here by the end of the month...Christmas was fun for them...Mira got a cell phone(all her friends have one)...she is totally addicted to her Tomagotchi...and her first Gameboy...loves her Fur Real doggie. Mikiela has new games for her Vtech video game system-lot's of learning stuff...adores her Care Bear. We also had a nice vanity table & chair made for Amira's bedroom-she's such a glamor queen now...we got her lip gloss & Bath&Bodyworks stuff. Kiela has a new toy chest to store all her goodies!!

This post is not even close to being finished...it has taken me over 2 hours to get this much done...my canera won't download...and I keep getting booted...I am totally frustrated & need to breath, lol...so I'll finish later...

...oh is it to die for...I had to stop working on the other kits because this came to me Wednesday...I first did this coaster set yestaerday...I still need to paint the clothes pins that I snagged off Ebay...the lo was also done with the kit goodies...I am working on two chunky cutting boards with this kit...I am so into these colors!! The stamps on the coasters are from Stampin Up!!
