I was shocked when LaVaughn came home from Iraq after a month of being there and wanted to update the mudroom-I was totally game with it! It was looking pretty sad. So he put up the white bead board, painted the walls a rich deep grey, added a new pendant light with a retro bulb, and a new bench seat. And he made the chalkboard so I can leave sweet messages for Mira when she comes home from school!!! We still need to add some kind of storage shelves and some framed photos, and a french door.

I spent much of last week popping from here & there looking for some new stamps. This week three new stamps came for me to enjoy. I have so many on my list-I love a good definition or script stamp...butterflies make me weak...and cool pattern sets my heart on fire!!!

Hi Keisha, You can find beautiful Peony plants at Betty's Azalea Farm on Lee Highway in Northern VA...not too far from you. My pink peonies are blooming now...so I cut two flowers today...checked them thoroughly and found no ants. They are looking gorgeous on my kitchen table in a lovely purple vase. Really, Linda...we planted a small bush last year that died! But I also planted some seeds in a big pot-so far it's just producing the leaves. I am hoping that it will give me some blooms this summer!! Fingers crossed-I will be as lucky as you!

Peonies-LOVE! I bought these on Thursday at the grocery store and they still look amazing. I wish the seeds I planted last year would give me some blooms, argh!

My wall of framed tags & photos is growing-slowly! I added some new frames over the weekend. I don't have a set sketch of how I will hang each frame-I am just eyeballing it. I still have 5 smaller frames on my floor that I am not sure how I will add them to the wall. I do like what I have done so far!
