Hi Ms ChitChat! I wish I had some secrets to tell, sadly I do not! I just play with different actions until I am happy with my photo. I wish I could tell you more than that-I am never happy with a lot of my photography, truth be told!!! But thank you so much for the compliment;-)

Memorial weekend, I almost forgot about these photos! It was an fun weekend for us-LaVaughn doing some of his cooking preparations...some new deck furniture...LaVaughn setting up the games-thank goodness for the instructions...a great shot of a poor dying bumble bee...after feasting-ladder ball and badminton got pretty serious for some of us!!

Neutral (NOO-trul) colors don't usually show up on the color wheel. Neutral colors include black, white, gray, and sometimes brown and beige. They are sometimes called “earth tones.”

I love working with neutral earth tone colors-and then adding pops of metallic...something that glitters. I picked up some new stamps this weekend and did a few new tags. I am so into these graphic patterns, my heart jumps whenever I find a new set.

I was online last week looking for a new technique for a project I had to do, like usual went off on a tangent-I then went searching for a new embossing powder I had seen on Ebay. While hunting for this powder I then saw a technique called "encrusted"-I HAVE GOT to TRY this, lol!!! I hope I can whip up something using this technique this week. I have so many things I need to do, I just need more time!

On Memorial Day we were lucky enough to finally have a ice cream truck come to our neighborhood! This is our 3rd summer here in this house and the very first time we have had an ice cream truck around here. Funny thing is-LaVaughn & I were talking about it a few days ago. I was telling him we need to open a ice cream shop or even better get a ice cream truck-Mr. Softy was the BEST thing in the world! Keep in mind we live out with the horse stables & cow farms, and we have come to say "I need to drive in TOWN...". There is not a restaurant near us for at least 10 miles-and we do prefer it that way! Just look at how happy my family is to have a visit from an ice cream truck...

So I have been talking about how I have been wanting to plant white hydrangea's-I guess I talked them up! I stumbled upon them twice last week-once while in Costco and then in Wegman's. Talk about one happy girl...these are photos of the ones I found in Wegman's. The hydrangea I found in Costco is on our front porch...
