argh, struggling.

I am struggling with getting over a learning curve-with PS elements 10! For Mother's Day I received a Mac Mini, woohoo. It replaced our 10yr old pc(Kiela was a baby when we bought it)-that kept me hoping each time that I needed it today wasn't the day it would crash! It was painfully slow, it wouldn't boot-up at times...and it was the one I did my entire photo editing on with CS3. Sadly with the new computer we couldn't afford to upgrade Photoshop CS:-(. So I have to start all over with getting new actions and just learning the basics again. I am so used to having everything saved as an action, woe is me-poor me!! I don't miss that HUGE cpu;-P

Soooo, as I learn my way through psElements I will share a couple of cards I did for the TCD DT blog last week. Simple cards made with left over scraps from the Summer Stories line...

I am so addicted-to using dies and making cards! These cards I made with more NEW dies that came in the mail Saturday. I ordered 8 new MFT Die-Namics dies-love their dies. I like making my own flowers and the feather die is too cool. I have been struggling with scrapbooking and at least this is keeping me busy & happy!!

pink paislee guest designer.

Yesterday these projects were featured on the Pink Paislee blog! It was so nice to do a guest spot for them and it was very cool to have a chance to play with their new lines-Luxe & Cottage Farms. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Luxe papers-I LOVE them. Graphic patterns of black/white and metallics-perfection! It was killing me waiting for my guest spot to post, because I wanted to keep using the Luxe papers for everything. Now I can use what bits I have left- freely!

I made these cards because I wanted to use another new die set. I love the Spellbinders S4-353 Nestabilities Labels 24 Die Template . To try them out I made a couple of cards over the weekend-I haven't done a layout in a while, and this die set would be nice to use on a page. For these cards I used TCD's Stationary Noted line.

a mini + 2 cards.

Today I am sharing some cards and a little mini folder album using TCD Stationary Noted line. I have been working on these for the past couple of days-the mini folder has been on my table for over a month. It took me sometime to figure out what I wanted to do with the mini folder-I wanted to keep it simple. It is hard resisting the urge of piling on the stuff-making it super bulky!! I had to pull myself back a few times, taking away things.

two cards one garland.

I made these two cards last week with new TCD's Far & Away and Memories lines. They were for a project and I went with a couple others cards instead.

Happy Birthday card-TCD Memories line: flowers, paper die cut, button
Remember card-TCD Far & Away line: dot paper, script paper, pearl sticker (this one used), paper strips

.[heart garland].

This is something that I made two weeks ago. Very simple and sweet heart garland. I have one or two more in the works-if I can finish them! I had/have so many ideas in my head and even some that are just unfinished on my table, argh. There is just never enough time for everything!
