This is a quick tutorial on how I make my accordion flowers, I learned by searching the web. I found tons of videos on Youtube-this is the one that I enjoyed. I've noticed that there are a couple different way to make them, I prefer this way! And I like to use a glue gun-and I like to glue in the center(shown in my second from last photo), because I don't know right then what I will put in the centers-mirrors, buttons, diecuts, etc.
I usually cut 2 3in x 12in strips-this is what I did for this...or if I want the really larger ones I cut 4 6in x 12in strips. And I gernerally score by 1/2 inch sections-which would be on all the white & black labeled numbers on my MM Score-Trimmer.
Sorry, CristinaM, Christine(jeno), Mary, and Tyna for taking so long to get this up for you! Thanks for the emails-I hope this helps!!
Thanks for sharing how you're making these, Keisha! I've got a score board but haven't used it yet. Your Christmas decor is looking so wonderful! I love those bottlebrush trees and the red butterfly and the big paper lanterns - awe.some.
