I have wanted to try metallic sewing thread for a few years-I usually thought about it when I was feeling too cheap to buy it "this time". Or I was too chicken to try it. Yesterday I went for it and I LOVE it. I only bought one gold spool to "try", and now I will be buying silver this week. When it goes on sale I will be stocking up on every color of metallic thread there is! I really love he way the loose ends curl up with a zip from the scissors-like that plastic gift-wrapping ribbon!

Q & A

Hi Keisha:) Merry Christmas and happy new year to u and family:) I Just found your blog from cricut! I LOVE IT!!! all that you do...your studio, your work, your house... i wish i knew you earlier;) hahahaha.... btw... I am Jeanny(Mack's wife) so one question how do u start it???? I dont know how to start organize my stuff:(
HEY Jeanny!! Congrats on the baby! I was a bit lost when you said "mack", lol!! I started with embellishments by color in plastic bins-and went from there. You must call when you all are back in the states.
Gorgeous. Lovely. Beautiful. Can you plz come organaize my scrap room? hehe? Just curious, why do you have two Slice machines lol
LOL, Deb...Making Memories is one of the best companies to work for!! They had me doing projects for Facebook using the Fabrique Slice(green) over the summer, which I needed to complete my projects-lucky me!!
Love it, Keisha! Have been waiting for you to share your new space!:). The little drawer that holds your Slice, was it made for it?? They fit in the slots so perfectly!
I know Liz, I was shocked that it was such a perfect fit. It's from Michael's. And it holds all my cards & the little books-and blades. Perfectly!
The tags are lovely and have given me some inspiration to get back into creating! May I ask please what your "go to" colors are? Any trio or pallete of colors that you find yourself inspired by over and over again?
Hi Karen,
Right now-I am all over white & cream with metallics. I usually love natural tones-white, cream, kraft papers...and green or pink. I usually don't use a tone of super bright colors.
Keisha, everything you touch is gold! These tags are so pretty! Will you decorate your studio with them? I'm sorry to hear that you have a creepy stalker, those are never fun. Just know they're stalking you because they're jealous of you. You have a beautiful home and family, their life is probably empty and miserable. Keep up the wonderful work here. Your fan club far exceeds the haters!
Denise, I do plan to make a photo wall with the framed tags & some of my favorite photos!!
Keisha, do you have an etsy shop? I love your creations and am wondering what you do with them all.
