Today I am sharing two Easter cards I made today! I used my gorgeous dollar bin stamps & TCD's paper and garland. I stayed very simple with some splash of spring colors.
These are so cute!! Love them. About the embossing, I was referring to your fabulous rubber stamping embossing. I can NEVER get it as perfect as you do. :)
LOL, OH!!! I like the fact that you *think* mine is perfect...and I would hate to ruin that image you have of me by showing what a mess I really am!! ;-P
My first Easter project-using Michael's dollar bin stamps(the bunny with the bow, the chick, sheep, and the egg)! I love these stamps, they were just what I wanted-more realistic and vintage. I wished they had more choices & sentiments that I liked just as much as these. The one bunny with the egg tag-that bunny stamp wasn't from the dollar bin. I can't to use them for cards!
These are so pretty! Do you send these cards through the mail, and if so, how do you protect all the gorgeous embellishments? I'm still hoping you'll do a video tutorial on your embossing. I'd love to see how you get it so crisp too. :)
Heaven, I am not sure if I have sent any cards through the mail...most go attached to gifts w/o envelopes!! And my Big Shot did all the embossing work this time-no more hand cramps doing it the hard way!!
My weekend wasn't spent on just making cards-I also had to nurse Kiela back from a bit of the flu. Poor thing has had it twice in the past few weeks. Since she felt better yesterday I was able to spend some time making a few cards.
I am now thinking of Easter projects, I need to make some Easter decorations! I hope to post some Easter cards & things this week.
Isn't that funny about dogs? There are four other people in my family, and we can all be sitting together, yet the dogs all come to me. They know who they can count on, that's for sure! Lulu is adorable!
Chevonne, same problem here...Lulu has this thing she started ding a few months ago-she comes and lays her muzzle on my lap and looks at me with HUGE eyes...then I guess what it is she wants. And she only does this to me, lol.
Hi Keisha! You are so inspiring and I enjoy visiting your blog to see what you have been crafting. I also really love seeing photos of your decor for the holidays, as well as photos of your home - it's gorgeous!! I was hoping you could tell me what border punch you used on this layout of Lulu, who, by the way, is quite adorbs!!! (She looks like she has quite a personality.) I've scoured the internet for a look-a-like, as well as your blog trying to find where you may have given the deets on it but I cannot locate any info on it. Would you mind sharing - I love it!!! Thanks!!!
Lulu makes our little family complete! She is doted on by all of us-I like to let everyone know that Lulu loves me the most. I am the one that she comes to when she wants water(always from the bathroom sink), to eat, or when she needs to potty. She knows I am the one she can count on-the others would let her starve, lol!
Today I am sharing some cards and a little mini folder album using TCD Stationary Noted line. I have been working on these for the past couple of days-the mini folder has been on my table for over a month. It took me sometime to figure out what I wanted to do with the mini folder-I wanted to keep it simple. It is hard resisting the urge of piling on the stuff-making it super bulky!! I had to pull myself back a few times, taking away things.
Here are the other two cards I mentioned that I made in yesterdays post. I have been in my studio since Friday-trying to make something! Yesterday I made another card & a little mini folder with a different TCD line-Stationary Noted...I hope to share that tomorrow.
LOVE your cards. I so get the 'mojo' thing. That is why I am trying--though not totally successfully to do things ahead this year. I just need to remember to mail them in time.
All weekend long I wanted to make a few cards, I ended up with nothing! But yesterday my mojo kicked in and I then made a FOUR cards-go figure. It's(mojo) is never there when I want it...these cards I made using more of TCD Memories line. Tomorrow I will post the other two I made.
Keisha! These projects are awesome! I love the garland! Where did you get your mercury glass hearts? I only find them in plastic, not so nice.......pin your stuff? Shoot....been there, done that....I always pin your projects......love them all
Happy Valentine's Day!! Today I am posting a few things that I started days or weeks ago...it's hard tyring to focus on one thing when you have a million ideas in your head! Now I need to get ready-makes some sweets for my guy & girls...and get ready for dinner out.
This is something that I made two weeks ago. Very simple and sweet heart garland. I have one or two more in the works-if I can finish them! I had/have so many ideas in my head and even some that are just unfinished on my table, argh. There is just never enough time for everything!
I am sending you my address to just in case you ever feel generous. I would love to be a recipient of anything you make! I am truly inspired by you. :)
