Inside of my little walk-in closet-this is where I go to use my Slice & do all my stamping/embossing. I keep all my clear/unmounted stamps in the white canvas bins. OK, so this closet is a mess in my opinion. I told LaVaughn that for my bday I want to jazz it up-something that I have been asking him to help me with for months!! I want more shelves & to finish painting it the metallic gold(it's only halfway done, lol). I hope that next month I will be able to show updated pictures of this closet!

Original, this is what you get when you visit this blog. In a few days I can explain why I needed to mention this. Just know I don't stalk blogs for my ideas-not that I have been accused of that. Although, there are some awesome blogs that I could stalk!!

Each year I love to buy ornaments, but not for the tree. I love to use them in my eveyday decorations. I just hot glued this ornament to a box I decorated with ribbon...this will go into Kiela's room...

Nope, Heaven! Making it myself seems too much trouble-so I just buy it when I se it!!!

I commented before that I am a COLOR girl and could not live with cold colors. I painted my craft room after you, Keisha..not WHITE, but a watercolor ice blue. A lot paler than your room that is blue....I thought, I want it light, airy and it was so awesome...sometimes we have to give things a chance...I'm autumn colors but I love it, very icy, very delicate....besides my craft room, yours is the only one I really like...we like to fill it with pretty things, not just crafty and that's cool :)

Luci, it is so nice to hear that. I can only take color is small amounts, with a white base. And...my studio-if it's not filled with pretty things I would be one sad girl! It's the prety stuff that makes me love being in here. Thanks for the comment Luci!

This weekend I was a bit obsessed with making different tags, and some other goodies. I love framing my favorite tags. I decorated a couple more gift boxes and did lots of stamping/embossing-especially with gold ink! I am also a bit obsessed with all things metallic, major gold & silver love.

I am not sure if I am more of a scrapbooker...or if I am more of a collector. I buy most things with the intentions of using them on my projects, I really do. Some of the things that I buy I stash them away for a special project, because that item may be too pretty for any old project! Who knows when I might do that special thing...and I forget about it. And then there are things that I do buy to use & to collect. Like buttons, I LOVE pretty buttons(especially clear glass & mother of pearl). I also love things that are like crystals or sparkle like diamonds-and to be able to look at them everyday makes me happy. Plus, if I display my favorite treasures I won't forget about them...and I might even use them...

Framed feathers around my studio. When I bought these feathers I had plans on making something with them-not to frame them. I was taking photos of my studio, and I was annoyed by the large silver frame-I broke the glass in it the day I bought it. It has been sitting there w/o glass for almost a year. And the white frame had a photo that I hated in it-so I put the feathers in them. I think they look pretty cool and makes me want to do a few changes...

My latest addiction-glitter ribbons spools!! LOVE love LOVE. I made all those necklaces on the dress form(lots of Making Memories pieces), they've been there for months-so pretty all together. I forget to wear them & that scarve.

I spent yesterday taking some new studio photos-while the sun was around. I just need to finish editing them...

Two weeks ago West Elm had their pillows on sale and I had a 15% off email-perfect time to get some new pillows for the chairs. Again with neutral tones & metallics! I am waiting on one more pillow that was on backorder. I really love the Mongolian lamb and I would LOVE another-when they are on sale again. Our new sofa came yesterday and it needs new pillows-I am hoping for another sale real soon.

We are well overdo for some updated furniture in our living room-it's been 14yrs. I was pregnant with Amira when we bought our current furniture, and it is still in near perfect condition. It's just a bit dated! It will work much better in the basement, which desperately needs furniture. Last week we bought these two Lyon chairs from Restoration Hardware, they came Monday. I just love them! Now I am having trouble picking a sofa-for months I thought that the Azure sofa from Crate & Barrel was going to be the one. I really love it, I just don't think that it will work with the chairs. I am now on a sofa hunt, sigh...
