There are 4 days until you can get the new March release!! Today I am showing off new MFT's Funky Florals stencil. I used it two ways-on the pillow box & card with a blending foam & ink for a soft and light feel. Then I used modeling paste on a gift/decorative box-which gave it a cool raised texture. Remember there is more new stuff to see on the MFT's Blog & the rest of the DT blogs-don't miss out on seeing MORE!
Yesterday I made this simple gift box-a large lace heart, a small-embossed heart with sequins, and a pink vellum flower. I wish Valentine's Day wasn't almost here, I wish I had made more stuff!
As I was wasting too much time on Pinterest yesterday, I so a pin that inspired me to make these mini pockets & tags. It was french bread in a translucent bag-so I grabbed my new MFT's treat pocket die and some vellum. It's not like I haven't seen little projects done like this before, but it was something about that pin that inspired me to do it. And now I think I need to buy a pillow box die-I really want to make little pillow boxes made from vellum. Don't you just love the way you can see a hint of what inside?!
OMG, day 7 already! For today I am using-Laina Lamb Design Treat Pocket Die-namics, Lots of Love Die-namics. The Lots of love dies is a must in my book, especially for Valentine (and so much more than that). I can use the 'you' & 'love' over and over again! And I have. Now the cute little treat pocket will work for little projects to hold gift cards, tags and of course sweet treats too.
I have so enjoyed my guest time with MFT's and thanks for stopping by, dropping comments, and hopefully finding inspiration.
Banners, banners, banners! Today I am showing off the new MFT's Dimensional Banners Die-namics. I have wanted a die set of banners for a while dreams do come true! It's funny how you want something for so long, you get it, and then you get stumped about what to do with them. That was my situation for most of my day yesterday. I finally got my act together by midnight thank goodness school was cancelled.
I have been eyeing this gold/silver glitter paper at Michael's for months. I was a bit afraid of buying it because I thought it would be too thick for my Big Kick to handle. Boy, was I so wrong! It sliced it like butter. Perfect die cuts! I need to buy more while it is on sale this week for $1. I am just dreaming of the Christmas projects I could use it for!
Today just a couple quick little projects using a new bow die, it's super cute with a large rhinestone center! And I love having a rosette die-it makes it so much easier & faster to make!
What a gorgeous little girl!! I bet she's just the apple of their eye!! I love your neighbors lol I live near some active farms myself and this time of year is especially stinky! LOL :)
OMG, I have been on the computer since 9:30 am trying to figure out how to do what I need to do for editing my photos. I just did the basics with no actions:-(. My next task is to learn how to add actions to PSE, last time I looked into that-it was a confussing process. ARGH!!
I'm drooling!! Keisha, your work is simply elegant and so inspiring! Question, that mini clipboard, where'd you find it? That is too cute! I love your use of gold.. Thank you SO much for the sweet gifts, that little keepsake box is awesome Thanks again... Heaven
Keisha, Congratulations on the Mac mini and good luck navigating everything. I am not computer savvy at all. I love the cards you've shared. That golden/black/kraft color scheme is awesome! Great profile pic, too. Love your top in that pic, too! I emailed you and I hope you have received it. Loved, loved the package! Angela
WOW! I stumbled across your blog for the first time yesterday and I am blown away! Your work is so elegant. I am intrigued by your embossing. Would you please reveal who makes the embossing folders you used in this post and in the earlier post with all of the white embossed paper? I rarely buy or use embossing folders because I rarely see any designs that I like, but I love the way you use them and the ones you chose.
Today is my blogging day on the TCD dt blog, and the theme for the week was home decor. I have had a busy week and had to rush home yesterday to do my project, sigh. This is another reason why I love my Big Kick-it is perfect for doing a FAST project! Especially when you are at a loss for ideas, doing something to be framed is a easy last minute project. Thank goodness I have extra frames on hand! This is seriously a 10 minute project, love that.
The gift box was done for the TCD dt blog last month-I forgot to post it on my blog. Both projects were made using the TCD Memories line.
I LOVE your cards. I always like your butterflies. Which die do you use for the large butterfly on the first card? I always have loved that one. Thanks and keep on inspiring us.
Opps, almost forgot your question...that yellow butterfly on the blk/wht thankful card was made with the Stampin Up Beautiful Butterflies die. I love it too!!
OMG!! I just discovered your blog and I'm blown away. Your work is simply gorgeous and your photography - well what can I say...stunning. I can't seem to get my camera to do what I want it to - time for some lessons, I think. Thank you so much for taking so much time and care when sharing your beautiful creations.
Hello Inky!! I am always glad to hear about someone discovering my blog, and enjoying it...THANKS! I wish I was better at photographing my family/people-that is where I need lessons!!
Hey Keisha, I came to email because I said, what's going on? I hadn't seen any updates, and there you were! Love the photos! can't wait to see them in the frames! Kiela is really growing! Say ruff to Lulu! Kathy
