OMG!! Happy 2014!! I am thrilled to start the New Year off with brand new (and awesome) products from My Favorite Things. MFT's is a huge favorite of mine-I use their dies over and over again for so many of my projects. I stalk the website every month waiting to see what's new-this month I am honored to be a guest designer. I am so excited to be able to share projects I made with the newest MFT's dies & stamps.

Are you ready for another Case Study Challenge?! This is the third challenge using a card of mine as the inspiration-which is the last photo posted. I made a few slight changes from the original card, like the gray background with a stamped chalkboard look-instead of pattern paper. I also switched out the leaves for feathers. I hope you can play along, I have one more inspiration next week. Be sure to check out their amazing DT's work-pretty awesome!

Here is week two of the Case Study Challenge! The inspiration piece is the last photo posted...I like to stay pretty true to my original design, I made slight changes here & there. I changed the flag on the pin with a word diecut and the mini double tags instead of the flag banners. OK, you can play along if you wish-creating it's so much easier when you have a bit of inspiration!

This month I am guesting on the Case Study blog, something that you could play along with! Each Thursday this month the Case Study blog will use a card of mine as inspiration-join in if you wish!! I will also be playing along with my new takes on my cards, lol!! Here is the first challenge based on the 'happy' card at the end of this post, I stayed pretty true to the original design. It was really exciting to see how the DT was inspired by my card, and I look forward to seeing what the Case Study blog fans come up with.

.[mft guest day 2].
Today-I have a more Christmas cards featured on the MFT's blog. I have to say that I really loved using the tags die-the pierced border detail really makes the tag for me! I will be using that on a regular basis for so many other projects. After making so many Christmas cards I am now in holiday project making mode! I finally dabbled with making the chalkboard look on some cards & tags(I'll share that next week).
Have a great weekend...

Yesterday these projects were featured on the Pink Paislee blog! It was so nice to do a guest spot for them and it was very cool to have a chance to play with their new lines-Luxe & Cottage Farms. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Luxe papers-I LOVE them. Graphic patterns of black/white and metallics-perfection! It was killing me waiting for my guest spot to post, because I wanted to keep using the Luxe papers for everything. Now I can use what bits I have left- freely!
