MFT's January Creative Challenge
Ready for some Valentine inspiration? The January MFT's Creative Challenge is all about hearts! I made a few projects with some simple ways to incorporate those beautiful hearts. I always look forward to making Valentine's projects-I wish I could make them all year.

LOL, Michele...we received more snow than the local meteorologists predicted. And when it snows here folks can't function-everything usually closes. Many were mad that our schools stayed open, traffic was a huge mess-even my oldest daughters bus got stuck in the snow. OK, YES that is a stamp! Its beautiful isn't it?! Looks like bought pattern paper when stamped. It's the Damask background stamp.

Lace hearts are my new obsession. It is simple, delicate, and so pretty. It was perfect for me to use to make a new Valentine garland this year.

Hi Luci...right now I just use one-my Big Kick. I LOVE it-because it is so simple and fast. I do use dies from different companies-I have not had a die that couldn't work with this machine. The only problem I have had is if I want to cut thicker papers-they don't usually work well with the thin metal dies. A few days ago I tried to cut through clear acetate with a wafer thin die, and it couldn't make a perfect clean cut;-(.

mini valentine pockets & tags.

As I was wasting too much time on Pinterest yesterday, I so a pin that inspired me to make these mini pockets & tags. It was french bread in a translucent bag-so I grabbed my new MFT's treat pocket die and some vellum. It's not like I haven't seen little projects done like this before, but it was something about that pin that inspired me to do it. And now I think I need to buy a pillow box die-I really want to make little pillow boxes made from vellum. Don't you just love the way you can see a hint of what inside?!

a few love cards.

Just sharing a few love cards I made last week and just found the time to post them. I ordered some new dies from Papertrey-the dotted hearts, arrows, and x/o's. I love them so. I have ordered so many new heart dies that I have been trying to play with-my desk is a mess of red & pink hearts!
