Homecoming day didn't go as I had dreamed it up in my head, as usual! I was thinking that we would be all done and home in time to take lots of gorgeous photos outside with her friend-that didn't happen. The nail shop messed it all up for me, lol. I am not very good with taking indoor NIGHT photos. Thank goodness for my speedlite & some photoshop magic-I was still able to get some really beautiful photos of Amira...

Last week Basic Grey & Hero Arts hosted a blog hop to celebrate their stamp partnership-here is the project I did using all new BG Picadilly line & stamps...
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::Also last week Basic Grey was letter *B* on Two Peas Stamping from A to Z...this is the project that I did for that event with the Picadilly line...
i just wanted to take some photos today...am i asking them for too much???? these two are not my fave people when i am taking their picture, especially when they are TOGETHER.
you see i just upgraded to CS3....and I have been playing around with my camer in Raw-thanks to Laura! So I need to practice. you need to know-i really don't know what i am doing. i am a big faker, lol!!! i like to seem like i *know* what i am doing. i really just play with buttons & functions i hear real serious photographers talk about!!!! i hope to take classes when i am back in the states...til then i will continue to fake it-and hope for the best!!!
oh, and....three weeks...three weeks off...mira has three weeks off now...Christmas & winter break has started...pray for my sanity!!!! we will be baking cookies tonight...

I read the comments on her blog when she said she was going to do this crazy-fun-adventure and move to China...one of your Fans put a link to your blog and said "here is a fellow scrapbooker that already LIVES in China"...and I fell in love with your work-so beautiful...your girls are adorable, and you know how to create a workspace to die for, and besides being an elegant scrapper, you take amazing pictures! oh my heck everything you got is magical..so so amazing. LOVE the stroy of how you got an awesome price on everything...hooray!
So I played with 6x6 lo's today...Mira is home for the 2nd day with a fever still...when I think it broke-it's back....but she is very playful and eats...will take her to the docs if her fevers continue. It's weird they come & go.
This first lo is for the challenge on MM blog, to use flowers...that funky flower makes me think of Kelli Crowe...she is the queen of funky flowers in my book...so I was a bit inspired by her!!! I was so into using my Hero Arts dot stamp on my tags...lovin' dots today!!! Actually all tags are stamped with HA's stamps!!
The last project is a coaster our DT got from Ranjini...so I used more bits of the April kit...it's something to hang on my studio door!!! I think I will have LaVaughn drill me some holes to string some ribbon through!!
Today was good because:
I got an email from Scrapbooks Etc for a lo, my 1st with them-YAY!!!!
Mail was really good...lots of MM goodies from Ebay....and my first CK check came-wow!!!
