This is something I did for the Making Memories blog today. I love the Fall/Back to School Slice card-it has a few leaf choices to pick from. I enjoyed the maple leaf for this page! And then I used the Mix & Mingle card for the 'leaf' lettering. I also dug into my button stash and grabbed a few mother of peal buttons & my last wood button-time to stock up again at JoAnn's. (Making Memories-Mistletoe dot paper, ledger paper, leaves, letters, tiny alphas, vintage tickets)
This next group of projects were made with the Jan 2010 JBS Mercantile kit. This first page with those gorgeous flowers were punched out with my new Martha Stewart water lily punch-don't you just love it?!

Hi Keisha You take such nice perfect pictures and it is not that hard with those little beauties of yours. My daughter and I take photos of her hair. What type of camera should I start off with. DeborahRoundtree/ Facebook.

Deborah...my gosh, I wish I could give you advice on the best camera to start off with. I am just not sure. Sorry! I started off with a Fuji Finepix in 2003 and we have gone through 4 cameras. On the right sidebar has an Amazon widget with the cameras I have & use now. They have all been a learning curve for me-I still have tons to learn about them!!

Hi Keisha!!!! I am relatively new to your blog and absolutely LOVE it!!! Your style is amazing-clean, simple, yet bold, beautiful and shabby all at the same time. There isn't a single layout of yours that doesn't inspire me to want to create!!!! I'm curious-what is your scrapping process??? Do you begin with a sketch, a color combo etc. I would love some pointers from you-your style is amazing!!!! Thanks!!!!

Thanks Krista!! I have to real process...I can either be inspired by a photo, or by certain products I want to use. Let's take working with kits(like Jenni's or Studio Calico's) I always go through the kit and pick out the stuff I really love-papers & embellies. Then I go from there...I just start cutting papers and hope for the best!! I often keep my pc open to my past projects for inspiration. I don't work with sketches at all. I spend a lot of time just pushing papers around until I am happy with how it is laid out. I walk away a lot to think about what I could do. I think I often over think things!!

Oh Wanda, sorry!!! It has just been so hard keeping this up. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that it takes over an hour to do most of my post & add the links...and adding the Q & A takes my forever!! I want to post more. I also want to always have a project to add to the posts. I guess life gets in my way, lol.
