I forget that I can do more than just cards! Here is a little peek at my NYC album I have been working on. I love the new stamps & dies from Kelly Purkey mixed with lots of MFT's stamps/dies-and some Studio Calico! I will share more in a couple of days.
I am sorry for forgetting my blog lately. I have said this before-I love to post to Instagram! I post there a lot more because of the ease of it! Snap a photo & post in a instant. Blogging takes so much more time. Plus, it's the holidays. We have been deep into baking cookies and preparing for Christmas.
Where's all your beautiful Christmas posts of your lovely home? I miss those lol Your decorations are always so beautiful. I'm not celebrating Christmas this year. Too much sadness this year. I hope yours are amazing! Heaven
Hello Heaven, I am so sorry to hear that you are going through some sad times. I hope that things turn around for the better for you soon. I have been posting my Christmas happenings on Instagram and will post some things to my blog very soon. Thanks for asking-sorry for not being on top of my blogging!
Thanks Keisha...have to see if they still have that die available... Love the new card you posted...I wasn't always a Halloween lover, but the colors and images are really calling me to play...Lol! BTW...your new pic on your blog...you look Great!
Gail, I am here to entice & corrupt;-)! Don't fight the urge to indulge in having a love for Halloween-I love it!! THANKS!!
A layout today! This ia a project I did for the TCD's Dt blog today using the new Family Stories line. I love the new stamps and used them on the small kraft circles. This is a cool line that's has a bit of girly and a bit of boy-ish colors/patterns. I played up the girly side of the line!
Here are a few snapshots of how my page came together...
1. I cut the 12x12 down to 8 1/2x11.
2. Then I placed my photo(with photo corners stickers) and multi circle die cut down and taped.
3. Taped and stapled the 'look' sticker to the top left corner.
4. Stamp images on the circles.
5. Add the stamped circles, arrow, die cut saying.
6. Stick the enamel dots to die cut saying.
7. Layer larger die cut circles, adding pop dots to medium size circle.
8. After the circles have been taped in place add 'snapshots' die cut.
9. Stick the journaling spot to the bottom right and I added some extra stapling to various areas on layout.
[extras-MFT's multi circle frame die, Spellbinders circle dies]
I can finally share my projects that I did for TCD's CHA booth! Her new lines-Masquerade Party, Santa's List, Memorabilia, Family Stories...are all fabulous! Forgive the bad photos, I was on my way out the door before I remembered I needed to take photos.
Lulu makes our little family complete! She is doted on by all of us-I like to let everyone know that Lulu loves me the most. I am the one that she comes to when she wants water(always from the bathroom sink), to eat, or when she needs to potty. She knows I am the one she can count on-the others would let her starve, lol!
It has been a long-long time since I have done a layout. For my TCD dt blog post today I thought I would do a layout-to ease myself back into that side of my creativity, lol. I knew I wanted to have a few hearts popping off my page-so I stitched them vertically down on my page. I went from 8.5x11 to 12x12 by adding the white pattern paper-I had intended for this to be a 8.5x11! But it didn't feel right so I went bigger. I used TCD's Stationary Noted line for this page-a perfect line for Valentine projects.
Keisha, is a few years I follow your blog your creations are so gorgeous. I like your style! Please could you tell me the name of Martha's punch (heart with love inside)? I don't know where to buy it! Thank you. Giuli
Keisha, these are gorgeous! So simple and yet so elegant. Love it! I'm going to send you my mailing address so I can be on the list to get some of these goodies! (j/k) LOL :p
Last week I was thrilled to start pulling out all the crows, Fred the skeleton(I made him a sign), and his buddies for Halloween 2012! I am still working on placing things and need to stop at the local farmers stands for a few white pumpkins. I was so excited to see that this year two of the stands I pass have loads of white pumpkins-love the competition between the two farmers!
I also have ideas swirling around in my head of stuff I want to make-but where is the time? This weekend I felt like I was all over the place-drove to Cindy's house for her Thirty-One party on Saturday. Sunday I took Mira and a couple of her friends to the mall for Homecoming dress shopping-by the way, did I ever mention she now has her driver's permit...and she has a certain amount of driving hours to achieve before getting her license. The 20 mins we spent driving through the neighborhood was super fun;-)
Today-I am staying HOME! In my studio...I hope to finish a couple of layouts I started last week and doing some Halloween stuff. And maybe do some cleaning-Lulu's hair is everywhere!
I have been wanting to leave a comment for the last month or two when I came across your blog through Making Memories. Quickly I added you to my "favorites". I simply love your blog and style. Everything you post from crafts to photography is chic, elegant, simple and beautiful. It not only shows in your craft but design, decorating and home. I LOVE popping in to see what other marvelous project has been posted. This is truely one sight I never get tired of looking through and spend sooo much time looking at photographs for ideas, inspiration or to simply look at pretty things like I would a favorite magazine. Your so blessed to be very talented. Thank you for taking the time to post all these pictures and share all the lovely things in your life. Looking forward to all your future post. -Jasmin : >
Hi Jasmin...well, I just don't know how to thank you enough for taking the time to leave such great compliments. It's always wonderful to hear what people think and I always hope that everyone enjoys each visit. I love it when I go to a site and it makes me want to make something right away...or makes me go rearrange the decorations in a better way somewhere in my house-a site that makes me feel inspired makes my day...and then makes me want to also inspire those who come here to my blog. I am thankful when I read a comment like yours(or any comment left)-thank you Jasmine & all others who may feel the same way!!
Keisha, I love this - it's beautiful. Just love how your photography blends so nicely with the album. Good work! I have the same questionsas those above! Melinda Wharton at scrapkit studio
Keisha, I love this mini album. I recognise the skeleton stamp from My Mind's Eye but what company or companies is the paper from? Also those labels (Spider Fangs, Deadly morsels)are amazing but have no idea what line they are from either. I would love to use something similar for a mini album for my granddaughter if you could provide some company names for me.
Joan...Lots of old stash stuff with a bit of new stuff! Ok, the Deadly Morsels is Martha Stewart from 2 or 3 seasons ago-look on Ebay for those stickers. All the other stickers( SpiderFangs, Hemlock, Trick or Treat and Oct 31) are new K&Co sticker set I grabbed from Michaels-the witch sticker too. The papers are all from My Minds Eye-a mix of two lines. One is their Halloween line and a line of black & white papers called Meadow Lark...I love doing Halloween in blk/wht with bits of orange. Yep, the stamps are My Minds Eye...and the skeleton at the end(or the first photo on black cardstock) is a Michael's stamp. Lots of old Making Memories stickers(letters/numbers and word stickers) & some Jenni Bowlin bingo cards and journaling cards. Studio Calico stamps(2006)...te glittery spider might be Jolee's...some black sequence...OMGosh, I am just noticing that there are a couple pages missing, lol.
