Hello! Today is all about ink storage. My ink storage is sad and it's driving me crazy! It is just in stacks on my shelf-by color. I am not sure if I want to buy an inkpad shelf organizer-I would need the biggest one. I am limited on space. And most importantly, it has to be appealing to my eye(I like style over function, lol)! If I breakdown and invest in an inkpad shelf I think I would hang it on the wall in my closet behind the door. Unfortunately, it would keep my door from being able to open fully. I think that would bug me-this is why my inks are the way they are:-(. At least they are in stacks-by color!

Hello! Thank you all for the compliments on the organized cabinet. I love how it looks inside-but hate the cabinet! There is a better one that I am eyeing! It is time for a new one-I am over Ikea stuff, lol.

Today we is all about cardstock storage. I don't having anything 'new' to share, it is how most of us store our cardstock. I use the jetmax cubes for my cardstock. I try to keep it in order by color. I have my MFT's cardstock in its wrapper opened so that I know what color I am using. I think I will make tabs to label and separate the colors. That's a tip I am stealing-even I am getting some good ideas from the other girls!

We are so happy that so many of you are really enjoying the organization tips we have been sharing this week. Thank goodness we still have a few more days!

Dies! Here is how I have started to store my die-namics & dies-in MFT's Clear Pockets(link at the end of this post) in a beautiful basket. My dies have been this way for about a month now. I am pretty happy having them stored this way inside my cabinet. If you don't have a lot of dies this if a good option-just make sure that the basket is sturdy. I don't take the basket out, I just keep the doors open when I am working. Viola!!

Yes, Donna-it is always a work in progress! I have seen the clear bins you mentioned(I do believe a few of the MFT's girls use them as well). I just don't know if I want something so clear-even though I love them for the durability factor.

And putting the large stamps in the cubby was something that I just did last month when I was trying to clean that area. Not sure if that is their permanent spot, I am just glad that they are no longer lying in the way!

Brenda, thanks! I hope to make a trip to the Container Store this week/weekend, now that I know there is one closer to me. Fingers crossed I something good & reasonable-I could lose a fortune in that place.

 

Today is all about stencils! My trick for them is simple-a clear file folder that has a adhesive back to stick onto a wall(or in my case the side of a cabinet). It is easy for me to grab them when I need them. Truthfully, I bought a couple on clearance from Staples and needed to put something in them!

Welcome to the MFT's 5 Days to an Organized Crafty Stash! The MFT's Blog & DT will be sharing how we've organized our stash! My space is a work in progress-I have been purging and rearranging my room. I am striving for a less is more way of life. I have a huge pile of old supplies in my hallway to take to Goodwill.

Today we are sharing how we store our stamps. I use a extra bedroom as my scraproom-the closet is my 'lab'-it is the place that I keep all my stamp supplies and my clear/cling stamps. I have a 2 canvas bins that I store all my clear and cling stamps. I am trying to replace these bins with something that can handle the weight better-mine are completely falling apart. My challenge is finding something that is the same size to replace them-and I have to like the way they look. I may have to switch out the cube for one with drawers. I haven't decided what to do just yet. Once I have figure this out I will update you-for now this is what I am working with!

I have been wanting to make myself a pincushion for some of my favorite straight pins-last week I did!

In my Lab(closet)-I have been purging and reorganizing my drawers. The biggest change I have done is adding the drawer of cling stamps/embossing powders and adding the wood drawer organizers to the jet max drawers. The cling stamp/embossing drawer makes it so much easier for me to stamp & clean up after. I also prefer to keep my most used stamps on the blocks so I don't have to keep switching-and I can just stick them in the bin when done.

8 am this morning-before makeup & hair! But dressed for the day, lol! The sun is best in my studio early in the morning before 11am. I never really play with my camera this early and I need to do it more.

Knitting too...another hobby. I started this scarf two weeks ago-I wanted a summer scarf this is big enough to be a shawl. I also wanted it to have a very open lacy stitch...

I added a new studio[2012] photo album to the right sidebar-I still have to add more over the next few days. I am always changing things\adding things, it was time to snap a few photos.

Almost done with my studio closet revamping! This is where I am at so far-and I am pretty happy with it. LaVaughn did a good job with adding the new shelves, love that guy! It looks so much better and it smells so good(not that it was ever stinky!)...just added a candle & diffuser. I will need to hang a few photos, and maybe a mirror-to make it feel bigger. I hope to add a new light & a french door in the next few months. Plus, a few more covered boxes or baskets while the Container Store has a sale going. I also want to spruce up that chest of drawers this week. The closet only had one shelf-LaVaughn added three...it is a big relief having more shelf space in there...

Hi Sandy...I made my scarves thinking of a few pins of mine on Pinterest. I just made a random chain and hoped that it turned out as well as the scarves I pinned, lol!!

Sherly, I have been a tad bit obsessed with Tim Holtz products! The wings are apart of his line-I think you get 2 sets of wings(large & small) and some crowns in a package. Oh, I also use liquid leafing over them to make them gold metallic or a bright metallic silver!
