Today I am sharing little gift projects that I had so much fun making-last minute! These gift boxes & tags are perfect for a modern chic theme Christmas. I am not a traditional girl, I love to do things that are unexpected! My inspiration came from the new MFT's Positive Sign stencil. I love a good graphic design done in black and white-then add a bit of color here & there. And some shiny metallic!
If you have not been over to the MFT's Blog be sure that you do check it out. There are a couple more new peeks to see on the MFT's Blog that I have not shared. Get all the full details on the MFT's Blog & leave a comment there for a chance to win a $75 gift certificate.
Welcome to the third day of the MFT's 7day new release countdown! For today's sneak peek I am sharing a couple of cards & some gift box ideas using the new MFT's Tag Builder Blueprints, Gift Cards Grooves die-namics, and Gifting Fun stamps set. I was really excited to use the newest Tag Builder Blueprints-love the shaped tops. It has a few more other shapes in the set. I can't wait to use it for my wrapped gifts this year.

Hello! Today I am sharing a couple of cards that I made for the June MFT's Creative Challenge-this month's challenge theme is using the new MFT's hybrid inks in a creative way. I used them to give the look of watercolor. First-I diecut some watercolor paper and then I wet the diecut paper to get it moist. Using a blending tool I swished the ink onto the wet paper. Super simple trick to get a watercolor effect if you don't have any paints! Be sure to check out the MFT's Blog for more ideas from the DT.

There are 4 days until you can get the new March release!! Today I am showing off new MFT's Funky Florals stencil. I used it two ways-on the pillow box & card with a blending foam & ink for a soft and light feel. Then I used modeling paste on a gift/decorative box-which gave it a cool raised texture. Remember there is more new stuff to see on the MFT's Blog & the rest of the DT blogs-don't miss out on seeing MORE!

As I was wasting too much time on Pinterest yesterday, I so a pin that inspired me to make these mini pockets & tags. It was french bread in a translucent bag-so I grabbed my new MFT's treat pocket die and some vellum. It's not like I haven't seen little projects done like this before, but it was something about that pin that inspired me to do it. And now I think I need to buy a pillow box die-I really want to make little pillow boxes made from vellum. Don't you just love the way you can see a hint of what inside?!

TGIF! I can't believe that it is 5 days until Christmas. I think I am already-checking my list, twice. Here is a fun little project for holding a card & a gift card I made for my TCD's dt blog post today. I used the TCD's Santa's list line and MFT's bow & tag dies. Merry Christmas!!!
Here is week two of the Case Study Challenge! The inspiration piece is the last photo posted...I like to stay pretty true to my original design, I made slight changes here & there. I changed the flag on the pin with a word diecut and the mini double tags instead of the flag banners. OK, you can play along if you wish-creating it's so much easier when you have a bit of inspiration!
