Today-I have these Christmas cards on the MFT's Blog. Once I started making one Christmas card I really got into the holiday cheer and made quite a few! It was nice playing with the chalkboard look-I thought I didn't have the right stuff on-hand...so I used white embossing powder and some really old Pebbles chalking set-viola! I was so happy that I didn't need to buy stuff to do the chalkboard look!

Today-I have a more Christmas cards featured on the MFT's blog. I have to say that I really loved using the tags die-the pierced border detail really makes the tag for me! I will be using that on a regular basis for so many other projects. After making so many Christmas cards I am now in holiday project making mode! I finally dabbled with making the chalkboard look on some cards & tags(I'll share that next week).

Today these cards are posted on the My Favorite Things blog! OMG, I am so into their new Christmas stamps & dies. All last week & even over the past few days I have been making Christmas cards. I want to make more Halloween stuff, but I am obsessed with using these stamps! My studio has been a complete MESS and I had to clean it last night-stamps, papers, and dies everywhere. Plus, the mess gave me a reason to use my new vacuum!

This weekend I was in the mood to make a few Halloween cards. I had some new Halloween stamps and new dies I wanted to use asap! I especially love my new Spellbinders mini tag dies. They are so perfect everything!!

Hey Liz...thanks!!! Those butterflies were made using Stampin Up 'beautiful wings' die(tiny butterflies), 'beautiful butterflies' die(larger butterflies), Memory Bx 'moonlight' butterfly. And the fethers are My Favorite Things.

I have been MIA(sorry) spending time with my family-lots of couch time with LaVaughn. We went through 2 seasons of The Killing and the first season of House of Cards on Netflix.

Today I went into my studio and made two cards with new TCD's Masquerade and Memorabilia lines...I LOVE the skeleton stamp,I was a bit heavy on the inking-oops!

HELLO!! I am sorry for such a LONG break! I have just spending time with my honey & our girls. LaVaughn & I have been doing lots of night time walks with Lulu-which is cooler for Lulu and I love having the fireflies lighting the way! And we were stretched out on the couch watching lots of tv-which made us super lazy! Although I missed being in my studio, I needed the break.

I spent ALL day today making these two cards, whoa! I used TCD's Summer Stories line...

Today just a couple quick little projects using a new bow die, it's super cute with a large rhinestone center! And I love having a rosette die-it makes it so much easier & faster to make!

Today I am the TCD's blogger and here is what I posted for today. There was no theme this week, so I went with doing more cards & tags-using my favorite pattern papers from the line. I really don't know how I have been able to scrap for so long w/o using a Big Kick, lol. I am TRULY addicted to my machine and dies. These projects have been done all with dies & embossing folders. The dies makes things look as if they were factory cut-and I have a ever growing wishlist of dies-"we want more, we want more";-P!

I spent some stime yesterday making this card & tag using more from the TCD Summer Stories line and a few new dies. I am kinda addicted to My Favorite Things Die-Namics now, I just purchased 6 of their dies(for starters;-)). And I love the Fancy Trellis Spellbinders die I used for the card background.

Joy, you have me nervous now! I had bought a cilantro plant when we first moved into our home-and it did AMAZING. Then we went on a vacation for a week, so no one was home to water it-it was gone when we came home. I bought the same plant TWICE and put it in the same place-both died. I have my fingers crossed that it will thrive on the deck...I will keep you posted!

summer stories, more.

Since it's turned into a rainy Sunday, I thought I would update my blog-and then join LaVaughn in on taking an afternoon nap! He is a bit whipped from being in the yard the last two days. We were getting my deck garden started-so far we have cilantro, basil, rosemary, cherry tomatoes and strawberries. It drives my crazy buying a huge bushel of cilantro to make salsa; I waste 98% of it. I just wish I could have a lemon tree-we live on fresh lemonade.

Friday, I made a card & some tags with more of the new TCD's Summer Stories line-which of course I am loving. And maybe I can entice you to love it too...
